Aldi to invest $8M in Salisbury operations, add 100 jobs

Discount grocer Aldi Inc. is investing $8 million in upgrading and expanding its Salisbury warehouse facility, with plans to hire 100 workers. The expansion and job growth are part of the German grocer’s $1.6 billion investment in its U.S. operations. The supermarket chain expects to spend $48 million to revamp stores in the Charlotte market.
