Major Wake County jobs announcement hinges on HB2 repeal

Sources familiar with plans for a major economic development told WRAL News that a company plans to bring as many as 1,500 jobs to Wake County with salaries averaging more than $100,000.  The decision, however, appears contingent on the repeal of House Bill 2, which could add pressure on N.C. lawmakers to compromise on a repeal. The company has not been identified publicly.
