N.C. lawmakers to vote Thursday on HB2 repeal

Eleventh-hour negotiations to repeal most elements of House Bill 2 yielded a major compromise agreement late Wednesday night. The agreement will be voted on this morning, just hours before an apparent NCAA deadline that put the state at risk of losing the privilege of hosting the organization’s championship events for six years.
