Ralph Lauren to lay off 107 at Triad facilities

Ralph Lauren Corp. is eliminating 107 workers at its Triad facilities, including employees at an 843,000-square-foot distribution center at the High Point-Kernersville border. The company, which announced this month that it would close its flagship Polo Fifth Avenue store in Manhattan to help save $140 million in annual expenses, declined to disclose the reasoning behind the N.C. job cuts.
