Switching to e-cigarettes would save lives of millions, study shows

Using an electronic version of a cigarette, instead of a traditional one, could save the lives of up to 6.6 million Americans over the next decade, researchers from Georgetown and Yale universities say. The study published Monday in the journal Tobacco Control notes that is a best-case estimate, while the worst-case research suggests 1.6 million lives could be saved.
