Brunswick County pharmacist’s Carolina Crud Crusher flies off shelves

Brad Carter, a pharmacist at Thomas Drugs in Shallotte, has come up with a formulation for fighting colds and flu, Carolina Crud Crusher, which has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Last year, 5,000 bottles of Crud Crusher were sold over the counter last year, with thousands more were sold through prescriptions.
