Winston-Salem business leader Don Flow and Grubb Properties will redevelop the former GMAC building and an adjacent site on Fourth Street in downtown Winston-Salem into a business start-up center and retail and residential project that includes 240 apartments. Charlotte-based Grubb Properties has committed to making 30% of the units workforce housing.
