One person died late Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill that temporarily closed the road, town officials said.
East Franklin Street is closed between Elizabeth Street and Boundary Street because of a crash. Drivers are encouraged to avoid this area until further notice.
