The NCAA announced Tuesday that the men’s basketball tournament will return to North Carolina beginning in 2020. The first and second round games that year will be held in Greensboro. First and second round games in 2021 will be held in Raleigh.
It appears the repeal of HB2 has paid off for North Carolina. The NCAA says the state will get part of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship events through 2022.
